Context

SABIL’s transition from the General Food Security Authority (GFSA) positioned it as a critical player in Saudi Arabia’s grain value chain. The challenge was to define its identity, align its operations, and create a roadmap for stakeholder engagement that supported its mission to ensure food security and operational excellence.

Our Approach

We developed an integrated strategic framework, progressing from brand to communication and social strategies. Each phase built on the last to ensure alignment and clarity:

  1. Brand Strategy: Defined SABIL’s purpose, pillars, values, and positioning, all rooted in the business model and designed for sustainable growth.
  2. Communication Strategy: Created a multi-year plan to deliver consistent messaging across stakeholders, ensuring engagement and trust.
  3. Social Strategy: Developed an approach to leverage digital channels for advocacy, transparency, and audience connection.

The process was grounded in understanding the crux of SABIL’s role in the grain ecosystem and addressing it with actionable, measurable strategies.

Outcome

SABIL now operates with a unified strategic vision that connects its purpose to its execution. This framework ensures internal alignment and external impact, positioning SABIL for scalable growth in Saudi Arabia’s evolving grain sector.
